The Eilham Technopreneurs Development Programme is an initiative by Designel Media Sdn Bhd, Aspati Sdn Bhd and Yayasan Bina Insan Malaysia, in association with the School of Lifelong Learning at Open University Malaysia to help accelerate the adoption of IT and multimedia by Malaysians. It is also a support programme for individuals who are already in the IT and multimedia programme, or those who are seeking business opportunities directly or indirectly in the IT and multimedia field. Here are some of the objectives in the Eilham Technopreneurs Development Programme:
- To help you understand IT and multimedia and how they can work for you
- To help you leverage on IT and multimedia to enhance your life and/or your business; and
- To help you build an unlimited income stream using IT and multimedia, as well as fundamental business principles and practices.
There are 3 main components to the programme:
1. Learning and Growth
This is the main component to the Eilham Technopreneurs Development Programme. RM300 a year to learn from the professionals how you can benefit from IT and multimedia. The programme puts forward 4 mechanisms of learning to help you understand the field:
a) online forum - registered members will be issued a username and password that they can use to participate in the Eilham Technopreneurs online forum at www.eilham.com/etdp. Content will be added continuously by the Eilham team, as well as other Eilham Technopreneurs;
b) e-mails - this method can be utilized to discuss projects and/or personal propositions;
c) mentor-mentee - each registered Eilham Technopreneurs will be assigned a mentor who will pass on knowledge to other Eilham Technopreneurs who are assigned to them, or introduced by them.
d) periodic trainings - Functions such as programme previews, development seminars, workshops, etc. will be organized by School of Lifelong Learning and Yayasan Bina Insan Malaysia from time to time. Some will be free-of-charge, but some will have a cover charge.
2) Business
Should you wish to apply the knowledge gained from this programme, we provide him/her the vehicle to actually earn real money. You can test your mettle at making money by marketing the following products:
a) Print Design (beginner) - sell professional design by the pages (A4 and A3 sizes), and get paid by the number of pages your client wants us to design.
b) Web Design and Development (intermediate) - much like handphones, almost everyone needs a website nowadays. Ride on this trend and make money by marketing the Eilham web design and development services, and you get paid commissions - you don't have to worry about the technicalities of it because we will do it for you! Professional quality, amateur price.
c) E-Learning Solutions (advanced) - for the skilled technopreneur, selling e-learning can be a lucrative business. If you don't have any e-learning products to offer, you can ride on us and sell Open University Malaysia's homegrown Learning Management System (OUMLMS) and earn a 5 figure sales commission!
You will also be supported in terms of business tools, documentations, production facilities, consultancy etc. We just want you to be successful.
3. The Eilham Technopreneurs Fund by Yayasan Bina Insan Malaysia - The ETFund is set up to help you acquire enough fund, as well as a big clients base, to start your own business. Qualify for the ETFund and Yayasan will start activating your account. Then, by helping Yayasan to teach the ways of the Eilham Technopreneurs, you will earn commissions. In your 11th month in this programme, Yayasan will total up your earnings, and gives a matching amount as your ETFund. So, if you make RM250,000 in commisions in your 11 months, Yayasan will top-up with a matching RM250,000! Of course, if you make RM60, then Yayasan will award you RM60... (and of course, other really simple terms and conditions apply). We provide strategies and continuous guidance if you are serious enough to learn from us.
